Barugh Under 10's Reach Millenium League Cup Final at Oakwell - 2002-2003 Season (15/05/07)

Millennium League Cup Final Under 10's Worksop Town v Barugh – Sunday 27 April 2003
Barugh under 10’s put on a battling performance in the Millennium League Cup Final but their opponents Worksop adapted to the conditions much better on the day and eventually ran out worthy 5-2 aggregate winners.
The first game started brightly for Barugh and they soon went a goal up. Good approach play between Lewis Hager, George Lockwood and Jamie Naylor set up Mark Lawrence to fire home an unstoppable shot. The score remained 1-0 at the interval. Despite a super display from keeper Jordan Bailey Worksop managed to score three second half goals to earn a 3-1 victory.
Barugh came out with all guns blazing in the second game but could not find a way through a well-organised defence. Worksop broke the deadlock just before half time with a super strike that gave Jack Lyon no chance. Barugh battled back to equalise in the second half when Matthew Gray got his head to a fabulous cross from Oliver Green. Despite super performances from Matthew Dove and Joshua Bray the greater physical ability of Worksop then took over and they secured victory late on with a well-taken effort.

Barugh Under 11's Division 2 Champions - 2003-2004 Season (15/05/07)

Junior Collegians 1-2 Barugh JFC - BUPA League Div 2 Under 11’s - Sunday 28 March 2004

Barugh Juniors Under 11’s returned from Junior Collegians with all three points and the second division Championship. After a season that has exceeded all expectations Barugh needed a win to secure the title and went in search of an early goal. Despite constant pressure all they had to show at half time was a string of near misses. Barugh continued to play the better football in the second half and eventually were rewarded with two quick fire goals. Matthew Gray created the first goal for Daniel Rose whose shot hit both posts before finally crossing the line. Matthew Dove then smashed in the second following some good work from Matthew Thornton but the Collegians quickly pulled one back to set up a nail biting finale. Carla Whitehead, playing her last match for Barugh, Oliver Green and George Lockwood were outstanding in defence and Barugh managed to hold on to take the title they richly deserve
