Barugh booked their way into the last 16 but made very heavy work in beating Worksop U17s team. The Underdogs Worksop were very positive in trying to get the correct result and had much more desire to actually win the game in the early stages. After 2 minutes a defensive error put Barugh in front and Blake Holmes capitalised on this. Joe Palmer made it 2-0 with a close range shot. Worksop came out fighting and scored an easy goal when defensive shambolic errors gave the away side some hope.. Blake Holmes had different ideas and quickly got Barugh back into a cushion lead when he scored a brace with an well taken goal.to be leading 3-2 at half time. Barugh reflected on their performance and came out a little better than the first half and they increased their lead when Axel Keoghan latched onto a stray pass across the goal box and he easily pout the ball in the net from close range The last goal came from defender Liam Hart. Excellent work and a combination of passes from Hallsworth Lee and Keoghan saw Liam Hart steal from ther blindside and rifled the ball into the net. MOM was Liam Hart
